From the arts inspire me to my personal practices, narrative as a foundation is also what I aspire to.

When I was younger, Japanese anime and movies with themes of love and life began to greatly influence my way of thinking. Today, when I draw illustrations and edit videos, simple, bright colors and mundane characters are still part of my routine, and stories are woven into them. By the time I got to college, I started studying ceramics, so clay became a medium through which I could experience the story of myself.

I do not think myself special, but I know I am somehow lucky. Take my work Future Relics (2019) as an example. Ceramic is the material and simulation is the method, but the content and concept are derived from a joking idea: "maybe they will be exhibited in museums after 50 years". These objects became the protagonists of my imaginary stories, and they were incorporated directly and simply into my fictional documents, thus turning into interesting data to other people (the audience), becoming part of their memories.

I am learning and trying to illustrate stories in larger units. Editing and processing the fragments of my daily life in different ways (illustration, video, ceramic ware) is what I persist in doing at present. Though luck and youth have kept me from understanding deeply into life, I am still on my way.
